Meet Your Meat

If you are ready to take the next step in putting farm fresh meat on your table then come by and meet your meat. You can take the time to pick out your specific pig, sheep, turkey, or chicken. Once you choose which animal you would like we reserve it for you and will let you know when it is ready for pickup. A deposit is required for pigs.

We process poultry on site and use a local butcher for pigs. To process your animals, take some time and review the cut sheet below to understand butchering costs and to choose your cuts. Butchering costs are not included in the price of the pigs. Since costs are based on weight it is not possible to give you an exact price up front. However, we strive to have transparent pricing, so please call us if you have any questions.

Cut Sheet

Pigs

Pigs are priced per pound hanging weight which is usually 70% of the live weight. We raise our pigs to approximately 250 pounds, so hanging weight would be around 175 pounds. All prices do not include processing fees set by the butcher. Please see the cut sheet above for information on processing fees.

Whole: $3.00 per pound

Half: $3.25 per pound

Quarter: $3.50 per pound

Pig Deposit

Turkeys

Turkeys are $3 per pound finished. You can come choose your turkey and we will let you know when it is ready for pickup or you can pick one of our frozen turkeys to take home right away. Our turkeys finish between 16 and 21 pounds.

Chickens

Chickens are $3.50 per pound. Each of our chickens weigh approximately 4.5 pounds but some are larger. Just as with the turkeys, you can come choose a chicken and we will let you know when it is ready for pickup or you can pickup a frozen chicken to take home right away.
